SWEET PASTRY DOUGH

Ingredients

  • 450g All purpose flour
  • 250g Butter
  • 80g Sugar
  • 70g Water
  • 2-3 Whole eggs
  • 2g Salt

Instructions

  • Place the flour and sugar in a mixing bowl
  • Add the salt to the bowl, followed by the cold cubed butter
  • Either with your hands or a machine mix on a slow setting till a crumb like texture forms
  • Now add to the bowl the egg and water, mix until a dough is achieved
  • Remove from the bowl and wrap with cling film
  • Place the dough in the fridge till cold through
  • Remove from the fridge 10 minutes before intended use
