Ingredients

  • 8oz Filet steak
  • 70g Shrimp tails raw (5 pieces)
  • 10g Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 20ml Olive oil
  • 100g Green beans
  • 100g Potato
  • 20g Celery
  • 10g White onion
  • 5g Parsley
  • 35g Mayonnaise
  • 5ml White wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water
  • Whilst the potatoes are cooking peel and wash the onion and celery
  • Cut the onion and celery into fine dice and place in a mixing bowl with the mayonnaise
  • Add to the bowl the chopped parsley and the white wine vinegar
  • Once the potatoes are cooked remove from the water and leave to cool
  • Once cooled cut into cubes and add to the bowl
  • Stir well and season with the salt and pepper
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
  • In boiling salted water cook the green beans until to the bite
  • Once cooked remove from the water and cool on ice
  • Again reserve in the fridge till needed

To serve

  • Place a frying pan over a high gas and add to it the olive oil
  • Once smoking add to the pan the heavily seasoned steak
  • Cook on all sides to give good color
  • Place in the oven if needed to cook through
  • Once the correct temperature is achieved add the butter to the pan and coat the steak
  • Remove the steak from the pan and leave to rest
  • Wipe out the pan and heat once again
  • Add to the pan a little more olive oil and cook the seasoned shrimp tails
  • Once cooked remove from the pan and add the beans to reheat 
  • Once the beans are hot spoon onto a plate
  • Place the steak on top of the beans along with the cooked shrimp
  • Finish by adding the potato salad to the plate
