Prep/Cooking Time: Longer Than 120 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 Kilo Strong flour
  • 2.5 Ltr Water
  • 30g Yeast
  • 50g Salt
  • 120g Olive oil

Instructions

  • Place the flour, water and yeast in a large mixing bowl
  • Place on a mixer and turn onto the lowest setting
  • Once all ingredients are combined turn up to medium speed and mix for 8 minutes
  • After 8 minutes add the salt and oil
  • Mix for a further 2 minutes
  • Turn up to the highest setting and mix for 45 seconds
  • Remove from the machine and transfer to an oiled container for proving
  • Prove till doubled in size
  • Once proved cut and weigh to required size
  • Place in a well oiled tin and add topping or salt if necessary
  • Leave till increased in size by 1/3 and place in the preheated oven at 220c
  • Cook till golden and spongy to the touch
  • Remove from the oven and cool at room temperature
