SALT BAKED NEW POTATOES

Prep/Cooking Time: 45-60 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo new potatoes
  • 80g salt
  • 10g rosemary
  • 30g water

Instuctions

  • Make sure the potatoesa re clean and dry
  • Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl and toss with the water
  • Move the potatoes to a baking tray and add the salt so that the salt evenly covers the potatoes
  • The excess salt will fall to the bottom and become a bed for the potatoes
  • Shred the rosemary and evenly spread over the potatoes
  • Place the tray in the oven and cook at 190c for 25-40 minutes
  • Remove from the heat and leave to cool
  • Reserve at room temperature till needed
