Ingredients

  • 500g fresh basil
  • 400g olive oil
  • 60g pinenuts
  • 100g parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 20g white vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  • Make sure the basil is clean and pick the leaves
  • Place the leaves in a container and add the pinenuts, parmesan, vinegar and olive oil
  • Peel the garlic and smash with the back of a knife, add to the other ingredients
  • Blend with the immersion blender till a smooth consistency is achieved
  • Season to taste with the salt and pepper
  • Transfer to a clean container and cover
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
