PAELLA LIQUOR

Ingredients

  • 20g Paprika
  • 2g chili flakes
  • 5g saffron
  • 50g salt
  • 50g onion powder
  • 3.5 qrt water

 

  • 3 red onions
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 can plum tomatoes
  • 50g olive oil
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place all the dry ingredients into a container with the water and mix well
  • Leave to stand for 2 hours
  • Peel and wash the onions and peppers
  • Roughly chop the onions and peppers
  • Place the oil in a pan and heat up
  • Add to the pan the diced veg and cook till just starting to colour
  • Add to the pan the can of tomatoes
  • Add the pepper and oregano
  • Still together
  • Add to the pan the previous liquid 
  • Bring to the boil
  • Simmer for 30 minutes
  • Season to taste
  • Cool and reserve in the fridge till needed
