PAELLA LIQUOR
Prep/Cooking Time: 30-45 Minutes

- 20g Paprika
- 2g chili flakes
- 5g saffron
- 50g salt
- 50g onion powder
- 3.5 qrt water
- 3 red onions
- 2 red bell peppers
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 can plum tomatoes
- 50g olive oil
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch oregano
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Place all the dry ingredients into a container with the water and mix well
- Leave to stand for 2 hours
- Peel and wash the onions and peppers
- Roughly chop the onions and peppers
- Place the oil in a pan and heat up
- Add to the pan the diced veg and cook till just starting to colour
- Add to the pan the can of tomatoes
- Add the pepper and oregano
- Still together
- Add to the pan the previous liquid
- Bring to the boil
- Simmer for 30 minutes
- Season to taste
- Cool and reserve in the fridge till needed
