FRENCH TOAST WITH BANANA & SYRUP

- 2 Slices white country loaf
- 2 Eggs
- 30g Cream
- 15g Sugar
- 15g Butter
- 1 Banana
- 15g Toasted hazelnuts
- 25g Syrup
Instructions
- Break the eggs into a bowl large enough to lay a slice of bread
- Add to the egg the cream and sugar
- Beat till well combined
- Place the butter in a fry pan and heat
- Once melted dip the bread into the egg mix and place in the pan
- Cook for 3 minutes before turning
- Cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until golden
- Place on a main course plate
- Top with the sliced banana and toasted hazelnuts
- Serve the syrup on the side
