FRENCH TOAST WITH BANANA & SYRUP

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices white country loaf 
  • 2 Eggs
  • 30g Cream
  • 15g Sugar
  • 15g Butter
  • 1 Banana
  • 15g Toasted hazelnuts
  • 25g Syrup

Instructions

  • Break the eggs into a bowl large enough to lay a slice of bread
  • Add to the egg the cream and sugar
  • Beat till well combined
  • Place the butter in a fry pan and heat 
  • Once melted dip the bread into the egg mix and place in the pan
  • Cook for 3 minutes before turning
  • Cook for a further 2-3 minutes or until golden
  • Place on a main course plate
  • Top with the sliced banana and toasted hazelnuts
  • Serve the syrup on the side
