EMPANADA DOUGH

Prep/Cooking Time: 0-15 Minutes

Ingredients 

  • 770g Flour
  • 220g Butter
  • 680g Milk
  • 8g Salt
  • 60g Egg yolk

Instructions

  • Warm the milk over a low gas
  • Measure the ingredients into a mixing bowl
  • Add to the bowl the warm milk
  • Mix on a low speed to incorporate all ingredients 
  • Once combined and a dough has formed remove from the mixer
  • Wrap the dough in clingfilm and chill in the fridge
  • Roll the dough to 2mm thickness
  • Cut into disks and layer on greeseproof paper
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
