Ingredients

  • 80g sago
  • 80g sugar
  • 800ml coconut milk
  • 200g water

Instructions

  • Place the sago, sugar, coconut milk and water in a small thick bottom pan
  • Place over a medium heat till the liquid comes to the boil
  • Once boiled turn down to a simmer 
  • Stir frequently to avoid the sago settling and sticking on the bottom
  • Cook for 30-45 minutes till the sago is translucent
  • Once cooked remove from the heat and leave to cool
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
