CHOCOLATE SAUCE

Ingredients

  •  2 cups milk
  • 120g chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • Place the milk in a thick bottom pan
  • Bring to the boil and add the sugar
  • Simmer for 2 minutes
  • Add the chocolate to the pan and stir till all melted
  • Mix the cornstarch with a little water and stir till smooth
  • Pour the cornstarch into the chocolate mix and continue to stir for a minute
  • After the sauce has thickened remove from the heat 
  • Strain and leave to cool
  • Chill
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
