Ingredients

  • 280g AP flour
  • 80g butter
  • 5g baking powder
  • 5g salt
  • 180g cream

Instuctions

  • Place the flour, baking powder, salt and butter in a mixing bowl
  • Mix till crumb texture is acheived
  • Add to the bowl the craem and bring the mix together at low speed
  • As soon as the dough has formed turn off the mixer and remove from the bow
  • Leave in the fridge to rest covered in plastic
  • After 20 minutes remove from the fridge 
  • Roll out on a dusted surface to 1" thick
  • Cut into discs, reserve in the freezer till needed
  • Remove from the freezer
  • Brush with egg wash
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 12-20 minutes
  • Once cooked remove from the heat and leave to cook naturally
  • To serve warm in the oven for 3-5 minutes
