TURKEY GRAVY (JUST ADD WATER)
Prep/Cooking Time: 15-30 Minutes

- 80g All purpose flour
- 15g dehydrated chicken powder
- 6g Onion powder
- 6g Garlic powder
- 2g Dried thyme
- 7g Salt
- 1g Black pepper
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix through
- Decant the mix into jars for storage
To use
- Once the turkey is cooked remove from the oven and leave to stand for 2-3 minutes in the cooking pan
- After 2-3 minutes remove the turkey from the pan and tip to drain out all the fat and juices
- Place the turkey on a serving plate and cover with foil, also cover with a kitchen towel to retain the heat for resting
- Place the cooking pan over a medium heat and bring it to the boil (carefully it will spit)
- Once bubbling add to the pan a spoon of the gravy mix, add a little at a time till all the fat is absorbed
- Once absorbed cook for 1-2 minutes scraping the bottom of the pan to release any bits and pieces
- Now gradually add to the pan some water, add the water a little at a time whilst constantly stirring
- The sauce will almost immediately thicken
- Once the required pouring consistency is achieved remove from the heat and transfer to a serving jug
