TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients
- 250g Yellow onion
- 10g Garlic
- 1000g Canned tomato
- 75ml Olive oil
Instructions
- Peel the onion and garlic
- Finely slice the onion and garlic
- Pour the olive oil into a thick bottom pan
- Place the pan over a medium gas and add to it the onions and garlic
- Cook slowly till the onions begin to soften
- Once softened they will begin to color
- At this point add the canned tomatoes
- Bring to the boil then turn down to a simmer
- Cook for 1.5 hours
- Remove from the heat and blend
- Cool
- Refrigerate till needed
