SALTED ALMONDS
Prep/Cooking Time: 15-30 Minutes

- 1 kilo blanched almonds
- 1 egg white
- 20g salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 350f
- Crack the egg and separate the white from the yolk (give yolk to pastry)
- Place the egg white in a bowl and whisk for a minute
- Add to the whipped whites the almonds and mix through well
- Add to the bowl the salt and again mix well
- Pour onto a papered oven tray and bake in the pre-heated oven for 12-20 minutes or until golden
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool naturally
- Once cooled place in and air tight container till needed
