RED ONION MARMALADE
Prep/Cooking Time: 60-90 Minutes

- 1 kilo red onions
- 200g sugar
- 400g white vinegar
- 400g red wine
- 1 ltr water
Instructions
- Peel and finely slice the red onions
- Place the onions in a large deep pan
- Add to the pan the sugar, vinegar, wine and water
- Bring to the boil and cook till all the liquid has evaporated
- After all the liquid is gone all that will remain is the marmalade
- Remove from the heat and leave to cool
- Reserve in the fridge till needed
