MEATBALLS

Ingredients
- 700g Ground pork
- 700g Ground beef
- 200g Panko crumbs
- 300g Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 3 Cloves garlic
- 100g Parmesan
- 20g Salt
- 10g Pepper
- 8g Thyme
- 8g Rosemary
- 2 Lemons
- 2 cans Copped tomatoes
- 2 White onions
- 100ml Olive oil
- 1/2 Bunch basil
Instructions
- Take the white onions and remove the skins
- Roughly chop and place in a thick bottom pan with 100ml olive oil
- Cook over a low gas till the onions soften
- Now add to the pan the canned tomatoes and basil
- Cook over a low gas for 1.5 hours
- Im a large bowl place the ground pork and beef
- In a separate bowl place the milk and panko crumbs to soak
- Now finely chop the garlic and the herbs
- Remove the zest from the lemons
- Next combine all ingredients and mix together well
- Once well mixed portion into evenly sized balls roughly 45g each
- Once balled deep fry till golden brown
- Once browned add to the sauce and cook through
- Roughly 30-45 minutes
- Remove from the heat and cool
- Reheat to order
