MANGO CHUTNEY

Prep/Cooking Time: 45-60 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 red onions
  • 6 mangos
  • 1 red onions
  • 10g chili flakes
  • 250g sugar
  • 500g white vinegar
  • 500g water

Instructions

  • Wash and deseed the bell peppers
  • Peel and clean the onion
  • Peel and remove the flesh from the mangos
  • Chop all of the above incredients to achieve a similar size
  • Add all ingredients to a thick bottomed pan 
  • Bring to the boil
  • Simmer till all the liquid has evaporated
  • Remove from the heat to cool
  • Season to taste
  • Reserve in the fridge till needed
