MAC N CHEESE

Ingredients

  • 100g butter
  • 3 heaped tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp chicken bullion (vegetarian like chicken)
  • 1 pint water
  • 100g heavy cream
  • 100g dry parmesan
  • 200g cheddar cheese
  • 200g dry pasta
Instructions

  • bring a pot of water to the boil and add salt
  • add the pasta and boil for the instructed number of minutes
  • strain the pasta and place in the baking dish
  • reserve on the side till needed
  • melt butter and add chicken bullion
  • add flour and cook till slightly golden
  • add the water (hot is preferred) and bring to the boil, stirring continuously
  • add heavy cream and return to the boil
  • add cheeses and stir till well combined
  • season to taste
  • pour the hot sauce over the pre cooked pasta 
  • top with some extra grated cheddar
  • cook till golden and bubbling
  • serve immediately
