GRATINATED POTATOES (ANY SWISS CHEESE OR CHEDDAR)
Prep/Cooking Time: Longer Than 120 Minutes

- 500g Potatoes
- 2 Pieces Garlic
- 40ml Olive oil
- 300ml Cream
- Salt
- Pepper
- 150g cheese (swiss or cheddar)
- 50g Parmesan
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and the garlic
- By hand slice the potatoes as thinly as possible
- Finely slice the garlic
- Pour the oil into a pan and heat till hot
- Add to the pan the sliced potatoes and garlic
- Cook till the potato starts to colour
- Add to the pan the cream and bring to the boil
- Once boiled add to the pan the grated cheese and the parmesan
- Season to taste with the salt and pepper
- Pour the potato and cream mix into a baking dish
- Place in the oven covered with foil at 160c
- Cook for 2 hours or until the potato is tender
- Once cooked remove the foil and bake further at 180c to colour the top
To serve scoop into a serving dish
