APPLE CRUMBLE TOPPING
Prep/Cooking Time: 30-45 Minutes

- 1200g Plain flour
- 500g Sugar
- 200g Oats
- 800g Butter
Instructions
- Place the flour, butter and sugar into a mixing bowl
- Add to the bowl the diced cold butter
- Place the bowl onto the machine and begin to mix on the lowest setting
- After a few minutes the mix will look like crumbs, at this point remove from the machine
- (be sure not to over mix as a firm dough will form)
- Spread the mix evenly over a papered tray ready to go in the oven
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 160c for 20 minutes or until golden in colour
- Once cooked remove from the oven and leave to go cold naturally
- Once completely cold break the mix apart into a crumble
- Store in an air tight container at room temperature
