APPLE CRUMBLE FILLING
Prep/Cooking Time: 30-45 Minutes

- 20 Small red apples
- 60g Butter
- 200g Sugar
- 80g Raisins
- 2 Tsp Cinammon
- 6 Cloves
Instructions
- Peel the apples and remove the cores by cutting into quarters
- Once the core is removed cut the quarters into 8 pieces each
- Place the cut apples into a thick bottomed pan
- Add to the pan the butter, sugar and spices
- Place the pan over a low gas and bring to the simmer
- Once the butter is melted and the juices are starting to bubble add the raisins
- Turn the heat down as low as possible and leave to simmer for around 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes check to see if the apples are tender
- If they are tender remove from the heat and pour onto a tray to cool
- Leave to cool but once cold place in the fridge till needed
