APPLE CINNAMON CRUMBLE
Prep/Cooking Time: 45-60 Minutes

- 120g cold butter
- 150g flour
- 100g sugar
- 50g oats
- 400g apples
- 60g butter
- 10g cinnamon
- 40g raisins
- 60g sugar
- 120g cream
Instructions
- Peel and core the apples
- Cut the apples into 1cm cubes
- Place the apples in a thick bottom pan
- Add to the pan the sugar, butter, cinnamon and raisins
- Cook over a low heat for 30 minutes or until tender
- Once cooked remove from the heat and leave to cool
- Reserve in the fridge till needed
- Place the cold butter, flour, sugar and oats in a mixing bowl
- Rub together till a crumb like texture is acheived
- Spread the crumbs over a baking sheet in an even thin layer
- Cook in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 15 minutes or until beginning to colour
- Remove from the heat and leave to cool naturally
- Once cool break into crumbs and store in an air tight container
To serve
- Warm the apple mix in a small pan
- Spoon the apple mix into a ring on the plate
- Top with the crumble
- Finish with the whipped cream on the top
