APPLE CHUTNEY
Prep/Cooking Time:

- 800g Apple
- 250g Onion
- 200g Soft brown sugar
- 500g White wine vinegar
- 120g White sugar
- 8 Sticks thyme
- 5 Cloves
- 1/2 Cinnamon stick
Instructions
- Peel and core the apples
- Cut the apples into cm cubes
- Place the apples in a thick bottomed pan
- Add to the apples all the remaining ingredients
- Bring to the boil over a medium heat
- Simmer the apples until all liquid has evaporated
- Remove from the heat and season if necessary
- Leave to cool naturally
- Reserve in the fridge till needed
